Резюме о победителе Конкурса ГИА Чеченпресс Олеси Корниенко, очерк «Повторение»

Работа Олеси Корниенко «Повторение» завоевала на Конкурсе первую премию, и на мой взгляд вполне заслуженно. Многие члены жюри дали высокую оценку очерку Олеси. Но на мой личный взгляд определяющим моментом здесь послужил не только ее высокий профессионализм как писателя.

Я, как чеченец, был приятно удивлен тем, что Олеся Корниенко – представитель русского народа увидела в чеченцах, воюющих с российской армией, высокий гуманизм и культуру. Как такое могло случиться, как объяснить феномен Корниенко?

И тут вспоминается Анна Политковская – выдающаяся журналист, которая до конца своей жизни отстаивала права страдающего от насилия и несправедливости чеченского народа. Вместе с тем Олеся Корниенко глубже прониклась к чеченской проблеме, так как она смотрела на страдания чеченского народа сквозь призму собственного мироощущения – женщины инвалида, познавшей несправедливость окружающего мира.

Особенно сильно она ощутила эту несправедливость в России, где слишком черствое отношение к человеческим судьбам, где наблюдается дефицит взаимопонимания и гуманизма, из-за чего инвалиды и больные люди фактически поставлены на грань выживания.

Мне представляется, что Олесе Корниенко удалось заглянуть в будущее, когда народы преодолеют грань ненависти и недоверия друг к другу и станут роднее и ближе, когда на одной большой Земле будет жить единая семья народов, где каждый человек будет относиться к другому с сочувствием и понимаем, что поможет в будущем предотвратить войны и конфликты.

Очень надеюсь, что этот дар СВЫШЕ Олеся Корниенко будет развивать в себе дальше и нести народам и племенам в своих произведениях.

Спасибо Олеся, здоровья тебе и успехов в твоей нелегкой жизни!

Summary of a winner of GIA Chechenpress Writing Contest: Olesya Kornienko, essay "Repetition"

The essay by Olesya Kornienko "Repetition" won the first prize in the contest, and I think deservedly so. Many jury members appreciated Olesya's essay. But, in my personal opinion, the defining moment in her victory was not only her professionalism as a writer.

As a Chechen, I was pleasantly surprised that Olesya Kornienko, who is a representative of the Russian people, saw in the Chechens, fighting the Russian army, high humanism and culture. How could this happen and how to explain the phenomenon of Kornienko?

And then I remembered Anna Politkovskaya - a prominent journalist who until the last day of her life defended the rights of the Chechen people suffering from violence and injustice. At the same time Olesya Kornienko has been deeply imbued with the Chechen problem, as she looked at the suffering of the Chechen people through the prism of their own world view - a disabled woman who knows the injustice of the world so well.

Especially strongly she felt this injustice in Russia, where there is too much of callous attitude towards human lives, where there is a lack of understanding and humanity, and hence the reason why disabled and handicapped people find themselves actually on the verge of survival.

It seems to me that Olesya Kornienko could see into the future when people will overcome the hatred and distrust towards each other and become closer to each other; when all the people on this Earth will live as one family of peoples, where each person will treat another with compassion and understanding, that will help prevent future wars and conflicts.

I really hope that Olesya Kornienko will continue developing this gift FROM ABOVE and will take to various peoples in her works.

Drugi list jest od Marka Gronowskiego - prowadzącego Festyval Filmow Górskich w Vancouver.

            Olesię i jej Mamę poznałem podczas Vancouver International Mountain Film Festival prezentujący filmy o tematyce górskiej. Ja prowadziłem Polish Night. Pamiętam, jak w przerwie między filmami Podeszła do mnie kobieta i z zapałem zaczęła opowiadać o swojej córce. To była Mama Olesi. Nie wiedziałem, że chodzi o osobe niepełnosprawną, dopuki nie zobaczyłem Olesię na widowni. Mimo niekontrolowanych ruchów zwróciłem uwagę na jej szczery uśmiech. Następnego dnia otrzymałem zaskakujący e – mail.

Olesia napisała, że to był dla niej wyjątkowy wieczór; tematyka festiwalu bowiem jest jej bardzo bliska. Okazało się, że bohaterowie jednego z filmów (Jerzy Kukuczka i Krzysztof Wielicki) są jej idolami, a mentorem był Bogdan Krauze, założyciel pierwszej w Polsce Szkoły Alpinizmu. Od 2001 co roku jeździła na obozy wspinaczkowe do Podlesic w Jurze Krakowsko – Częstochowskiej.

            Z jej listu dowiedziałem się, że w Polsce życie osób niepełnosprawnych z roku na rok staje sie gorsze, dlatego, postawiwszy wszystko na jedną kartę, przyjechały do Kanady. Olesia zwierzyła mi się, że wszystko, co osiągnęła, zdobyła ogromnym trudem i tylko dzięki jej Mamie. Obie panie mają już Work Pirmit, szukają pracy i uczą się angielskiego.

            Olesia ma szalone i fascynujące pomysły na samorealizację! Chciałaby otworzyć w Kanadzie szkołę tańca dla dzieci na wózkach inwalidzkich, ponieważ wyczynowo uprawiała ten sport.

            A do mnie zwróciła się z prośbą o pomoc w powrocie do wspinania. W przyszłości chciałaby stworzyć w Kanadzie organizację, która zajmowała by się wyczynową wspinaczką dla niepełnosprawnych, uważa bowiem, że wspinaczka jest wspaniałą formą rehabilitacji i sposobem na życie. Próbuje nawiązać kontakt ze wspinaczami w Vancouver, stąd jej obecność na festiwalu.

            Z doświadczenia wiem, że wspinaczka, nawet dla zdrowych ludzi, jest sportem elitarnym i potrzeba wielkiej odwagi i samozaparcia, by go uprawiać i chociaż to niewiarygodne, filmy z fragmentami wspinaczkowych przygód, autobiografia oraz reportaż o obozie wspinaczkowym, które mi przesłała potwierdziły, że Olesia napisała prawdę. Osoba tak bardzo ograniczona ruchowo potrafi się wspinać. Te filmy pokazują hart jej ducha!

            Podziwiam ją za tę wspaniałą chęć życia i za entuzjazm, które ma w sobie!

            Myślę, że Olesia mogłaby wiele dać osobom niepełnosprawnym w Kanadzie.

To whom it may concern

 Dear Sir,

  

My name is Marek Gronowski and I am writing to bring to your attention an exceptional person who is Olesia Kornienko.

While doing my duties as a Master of Ceremony at the Vancouver International Mountain Film Festival I was approached by a lady who passionately told me a story of her mountain climbing daughter. That was Olesia's mother and I didn't find the story extraordinary until I saw Olesia in person: she was  riding in a wheelchair! Despite her uncontrollable movements I was struck by her sincere smile and a genuine spark of life in her eyes. The next day I received a surprising email.

Olesia wrote how that Festival night was exceptional for her, since mountain climbing is at the centre of her passions. The main feature of the night was a film about two prominent Polish mountain climbers (Jerzy Kukuczka and Krzysztof Wielicki)  who happened to be Olesia's idols. Her climbing mentor was Bogdan Krauze, the founder of the first Polish Climbing Academy. Since 2001 Olesia has attended their climbing training camps every year.

From Olesia's message I learned that in the last years the plight of the physically challenged people is getting worse and so Olesia with her mother made a difficult decision to leave Poland behind and go to Canada. Olesia has also confessed that all she has achieved in life she owes to her mother, and to her own hard work and dedication. Both ladies have now obtained work permit in Canada and are currently studying English language.

As an engineer I admire Olesia for her structured and logical thinking in realizing her dreams. But Olesia has also plenty of incredible at first ideas. Incredible until I read her memoirs and saw films about her. Among others she is planning to open in Canada a school of dance for the handicapped children, an activity that is close to her heart as she herself used to do it on a performance level!

Olesia has also asked me to help her get back to the sport of mountain climbing. In the future she is hoping to establish in Canada an organization for performance level mountain climbing for the handicapped as she believes climbing is a great form of rehabilitation, also offering fulfillment in life. She is currently finding her contacts with Vancouver climbing world, hence her presence at the Mountain Film Festival.

From my own experience I know that mountain climbing, even for fully fit people, is a very demanding sport and it was hard to imagine that a handicapped person could be involved in it. However, Olesia's written stories about her climbing camps, her autobiography and films showing her climbing achievements  have proven that she was right: a mobility-challenged person can do mountain climbing! All it takes is determination and positive thinking and she certainly has plenty of it!

I admire Olesia for her incredible "appetite for life" and enthusiasm that she carries! She certainly deserves any possible assistance in achieving her goals.

I am convinced Olesia can be a great inspiration for the mobility-challenged people in Canada.
